    Meet the maker

    Hello! I’m Abbie, I’m seventeen years old & the hands behind all of the artwork here at The Branded Nickel. I started my business at just fifteen years old with the help of my amazing & loving mother. I was born & raised in south Texas, and currently run The Branded Nickel full time from home. 

    I absolutely love what i do & am so thankful for everyone who has supported me on my journey of following in my father’s footsteps. My father, Steven Nickel was a very well known artist in my hometown. He unfortunately lost his battle with mental health & addiction in 2012. The Branded Nickel is my way of keeping his legacy alive by not only also becoming a full time artist myself, but also by naming my business after him!

    I hope through The Branded Nickel I’m able to be an active advocate for mental health, create many beautiful pieces of artwork, and return some of the love you all have shown me.
